Ultrasonic cutting technology is an ideal solution to the pain points of cutting sunscreen fabrics (such as frayed edges, pilling, and scorching). It is currently widely used in the processing of curtain fabrics such as roller blinds, windproof roller blinds, and sheer curtains.

Technical Principles and Advantages: Ultrasonic cutting does not rely on a sharp blade. Its principle is to use high-frequency vibration (commonly 20kHz or 40kHz) to generate frictional heat at the contact surface between the blade and the material, causing localized melting of the material, thus achieving cutting and edge sealing in one step.

High efficiency and high quality: Automated equipment offers high cutting precision, with dimensional errors less than 2mm. The absence of physical compression effectively prevents material chipping or breakage.

Clean and environmentally friendly: The cutting process generates very little dust, resulting in a cleaner working environment.


Key Equipment Types and Features: The main types of ultrasonic cutting equipment for curtain fabrics on the market are as follows:

Fully automatic ultrasonic cutting machine: Suitable for mass production. The equipment typically integrates an ultrasonic system, PLC touchscreen control, and an automatic deviation correction system.

Production efficiency: Up to 3-9 sheets of fabric can be cut per minute.

Ultrasonic slitting machine: Specifically designed to slit wide fabrics into strips of specific widths.

Production speed: Up to 5-20 meters per minute.

Technical features: Some high-end models adopt the eighth-generation "press-then-cut" technology, with adjustable edge sealing hardness.

Ultrasonic dual-blade cutting machine: Highly flexible, typically with two stations: one for ultrasonic cutting and automatic edge sealing, and the other for cold/pressure cutting of materials that do not require edge sealing.


Other types of equipment: Also include ultrasonic roller blind cutting machines and ultrasonic curve cutting machines for specific shapes.
