How To Produce Perfume by Ultrasonic Extraction?

Ultrasonic extraction of perfume uses ultrasound to assist in the extraction of aromatic components from perfume raw materials. This method utilizes the cavitation effect of ultrasound to disrupt plant cells, accelerating the release of aromatic components, thereby improving extraction efficiency and reducing extraction time. Compared to traditional distillation or solvent extraction methods, ultrasonic extraction offers advantages such as higher efficiency, shorter extraction time, lower energy consumption, and reduced environmental impact.

How Ultrasonic Extraction of Perfume Works:

Ultrasonic extraction utilizes the cavitation effect generated by ultrasound waves propagating through a liquid. Specifically, ultrasound waves propagate through a liquid, creating alternating regions of high and low pressure. When the low-pressure regions are sufficiently low, bubbles form in the liquid. These bubbles rapidly collapse (burst) upon reaching a certain size, releasing a significant amount of energy at the moment of rupture. This energy is used to break down the cell walls of plant cells, releasing the aromatic components within.

Advantages of Ultrasonic Extraction of Perfume:

High Efficiency:

Ultrasonic waves effectively disrupt plant cell walls, accelerating the release of aromatic components and improving extraction efficiency.

Short Time:

Compared to traditional methods, ultrasonic extraction typically takes only a few minutes to tens of minutes, significantly reducing extraction time. Low Energy Consumption:

Ultrasonic extraction requires relatively low energy, reducing energy consumption.

Low Environmental Impact:

Ultrasonic extraction typically uses water or a harmless solvent, resulting in minimal environmental impact.

Preserves Natural Aroma:

Ultrasonic extraction better preserves the natural properties of aroma components, avoiding the aroma loss that can occur with high temperatures or prolonged extraction.

Applications of Ultrasonic Extraction of Perfumes:

Ultrasonic extraction technology can be widely used to extract the aroma of various plants, such as:

Flowers: rose, jasmine, lavender, etc.

Herbs: rosemary, mint, basil, etc.

Spices: agarwood, sandalwood, etc.
